Mentor to John Blackwell, Rob Lewis - Musical Director to Babyface & Christina Aguilera, and many others. 

 

Berklee College of Music alumnus Curtis hails from Willow Grove, a small town just north of Philadelphia, and home to such jazz greats as pianists Bud and Richie Powell, Bobby Timmons & drummer, Tommy Campbell.

 

Curtis earned a solid reputation on the local Boston music scene as a drummer & percussionist.  

 

Warner began his jazz performance career as a member of pianist Ran Blake's band in 1975. Over the years, he has performed in numerous professional venues that have included guest appearances with luminaries such as Grover Washington Jr., Jimmy Smith, Bobbie Humphrey and James Williams to name a few. 

 

To this day, jazz drummer, Campbell (Sonny Rollins) cites “Curt Warner” as one of his major influences (Modern Drummer Magazine, July ’85).

 

As a member of the Hey Rim Jeon and Friends ensemble, Curtis enjoys musical collaborations with a variety of musicians including saxophonist George Garzone, bassist, John Lockwood, vocalist Gabrielle Goodman.
