Year 2006 was packed:

§       With her trio, Laura Brunner closed for Jazz vocalist Jane Monhiet in the Boston Symphony's inaugural Boston Pops Jazz Festival at Symphony Hall.

§       Selected to be part of Berklee’s Jazz Revelation Records compilation CD, Ars Nova.

§       Won the “Steppin’ Out Talent Search.”

o      Next step? Steppin’ Out Gala on the same bill as Ellis and Delfeayo Marsalis, Dwele, Tito Puente Jr., and Dr. John.

Laura’s 2007 win at the international Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal Competition garnered her master’s class performance with Kurt Elling at the International Association of Jazz Educators Convention.
